The steps to taking off acrylic nails are super easy and can be fast if you apply the proper techniques

To complete this process you will need:

Pure Acetone you can find this at your local Sally’s Beauty Supply Store
Cotton Balls
Pointed Clippers
Glass Cup or container ( Glass is best so as not to melt plastic)
If you do not have a glass cup to use you can pour the acetone in a thick ziplock bag
Nail File or Drill
Paper towel

*QUICK TIP* If you have lifting
Prior to beginning this process remove any extremely lifted acrylic with your pointed clippers. The best way to do this is to place the clipper on the lowest lying position of your natural nail bed and scoop the clippers upward and under the lifting acrylic. Clip and repeat until you have clipped all easily removable acrylic.

Step 1
Pour your acetone into your glass holder or ziplock bag

Step 2
Soak Nails in Acetone for a few minutes.

Step 3
Wipe the top of the nail off of gooey acrylic

Step 4
Drill or file from bottom of acrylic to remove acrylic faster. Be sure not to drill or file your nail bed or natural nails.

Step 5
Repeat steps 1-4 until acrylic is complete removed from your nails.

False tips will soak off easily

Be very gentle with pointed clippers. If acrylic is not easily clipped away do not force it. This will ensure that you are able to save your natural nails from damage or pain.

You will know when the acrylic is completely removed. You natural nails will have more of a pinkish tone to it the acrylic and natural nails will have different colors.
