Eating Clean doesn’t have to be a joy kill or even a food kill. To get healthy and/or stay healthy you should always include the green! Today for lunch I made this yummy Spinach and Kale Salad. Not only was it a healthy addition to my meal selection it was very good and satisfying. So in the effort to support healthy habits I thought it would be great to share this meal with you. Bon Appetit
Ingredients I used:
- Spinach
- Kale
- Salmon
- Strawberries
- Pineapple
- Cucumber
- Bell Pepper
- Onion
- Blueberries
- Avocado
- Oregano Leaves
- Lemon Pepper
Step 1: Decide what colors you want to see in your salad. That means decide which vegetables and fruits if you so choose to include in this fun meal.
Step 2: Use about 1 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil to cook your salmon on top of the stove.
Step 3: Prepare all fruits and veggies by washing, cutting an set aside. I used Spinach, Kale Strawberries, Blueberries, Pineapples, Cucumbers, Onions, Bell Peppers, Avocado, and Fresh Oregano in mine. Wash your Spinach and Kale.
Step 4: Add your cut fruits and veggies to your spinach and kale.
Step 5: Once fully cooked you can either decide to cuts, rip or leave your salmon whole.
****Quick Tip If you are vegan Instead of using salmon Try Kidney Beans.****
Step 6: Eat and enjoy this wonderful spinach and kale fruit salad!
